Mandie
Messenger - Producer, Director, Writer, Film maker
Producer of over 5 short films including the multi award winning WHALEBOAT,
she has credits in top crew positions (check out her
CV/FILMOGRAPHY). Mandie was secretary for the Queensland
branch of Women in Film & Television, a position
that is acquired by vote & providing contact with many industry
professionals & institutions (we believe this is beneficial in promoting
ScreenQuest & gaining industry exposure). Experienced in front of
camera also, she is comfortable addressing a crowd & can appreciate
the stresses that talent can go through (especially during filming delays).
As a people person with experience in most departments (usually Production
& Assistant Directing) this helps her to co-ordinate the operation
of staff smoothly. CREW

Mike Kent
- Screen writer, Entrepreneur, Aust. Sidecar Racing Champion
Mike is a newcomer to the "behind the scenes" aspect of the
film & television industry although he has been a "stuntie
& extra" on many big budget shoots including TIME TRAX,
FLIPPER & UNIVERSAL SOLDIER he has also
quite a few short film credits too! Mike's crew journey includes experience
as Unit Manager, Vehicles, Grip Assistant & Runner. Currently studying
the art of screen writing he has created a feature film script &
is developing a television series, while studying the motion picture
making process.
Sarah Kirkby
- Production Manager, Post Production Supervisor, Editor
Completing GRIFFITH UNI must have been difficult when
you are also Production Managing the 4 nights live production for the
Gold Coast Show, but Sarah can do! She has also worked
extensively for 3 phones in sales in addition to producing
content for their network. A wizz with Final Cut Pro
& knowledge of most departments makes Sarah an invaluable crew member
as her understanding encompasses a broad spectrum.
Ray "SANTA"
Strohfeldt - Santa, Writer, Actor, Festival Manager
Name a show made in Australia & he was probably in it! From MAD
MAX 1, 2 & 3 to 20,000 LEAGUES this guy
has been everywhere. He has been constructively working on the writing
& behind the scenes talents while still accepting acting roles.
Recently on staff for the Sanctuary Cove International Film
Festival, Film Fantastic, Brisbane International Animation Film Fesatival
& an active member of the STARS club (scriptwriting)
our Santa has been acting & rubbing shoulders with the famous for
years so here's SANTAS
ALBUM. With a feature credit & several shorts in crew
capacity (& the wonderful stories he keeps churning out) we expect
great things.....
Brian
Vaughan - Writer, Actor, Assistant Director
Brian started out producing a short which he wrote & shot alone!
(yep good story & true!) From here he donated time to QPIX
to network & learn. As Director & founder of SPIRIT
RIDER PRODUCTIONS he was instrumental in helping the opening
of a stunt training centre with Don Vaughn at the helm
(PETER PAN, MATRIX). Recently he has had more acting work than usual
appearing as a pirate on PETER PAN, a prisoner in THE
GREAT RAID & in the army for AUSTRALIAN STORY here's
BRIANS ALBUM.
Brian also holds the filming rights to many novels under an agreement
with a major publishing house.
Ann Kinloch
- Production Accounts / Secretary / Assistant
Production started early for Ann in theatre where she rapidly progressed
to stage manager while studying her bachelor of arts at FLINDERS
UNI. A veteran at live production she soon made her way toward
film & television with many appearances in popular Aussie dramas
such as GRANVILLE - train disaster & MEDIVAC.
Ann's additional talents lie in bookeeping & business administration
(even for the city council - if they trust her I guess we can!) where
we need her most.........
